Frederic (Ted) Withington was a programmer at NSA in 1953. Over the years
he worked for computer makers Electrodata and Burroughs, and was a consultant
at Arthur D. Little, Inc., where he was VP-IT. He has prepared numerous assessments
and forecasts of IT technology and companies, and wrote four books on IT management.
Mostly retired, he remains on three IT boards. A longer bio can be found in
