Apex-Brasil aims to promote the exports of Brazilian products and services in order to attract foreign investment to the strategic sectors of the economy. Its services comprise trade and prospective missions, business rounds, support for the participation of Brazilian companies in major international trade fairs, arrangement of technical visits of foreign buyers and opinion makers to learn about the Brazilian productive structure, and other select activities designed to strengthen the country’s branding abroad. Currently, Apex-Brasil supports over 12 thousand companies in 80 productive sectors of the Brazilian economy, exporting to more than 200 markets. Trade promotion actions, such as business rounds, support to the participation of Brazilian companies in major international fairs, visits of foreign buyers to Brazil, among others, are developed in partnership with trade associations. The company also coordinates the efforts toward attracting foreign direct investments (FDI) into the country, focusing on identifying business opportunities and promoting strategic events thus lending support to foreign investors throughout their operations in Brazil. Apex-Brasil was founded in 1997 and is based in Brazil.
