Mr. Hiroshi Yamamoto

IBM Distinguished Engineer in the Software Group and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Global Electronics Industry, his responsibilities include all electronics customers at global level. During his twenty-five year career, he developed his technical expertise in industry standard based Distributed Transactions and was appointed as a Distinguished Engineer in 2008. He expanded the horizontal industry skills in electronics industry and was appointed as the Global Electronics CTO in 2013. He was a former member of ISO / International Electro-technical Commission (ISO/IEC) JTC1 SC38 Distributed Application Platform and Services national bodies. He also currently serves as a visiting professor of the graduate school Computer Science of Hosei University in Tokyo.
