Bio/Description

An American Industrial Engineer; before starting his own business, he worked for IBM for thirteen years; four years as an engineer and then moving into sales. As a sales executive, he exceeded his sales objective every year. He holds a B.A. degree in Business from Claremont Men’s College and B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. He has twenty-five years of experience in high technology, with extensive experience in creating businesses focused on implementing Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with a high degree of customer satisfaction. ERP is a cross-functional enterprise system driven by an integrated suite of software modules that supports the basic internal business processes of a company. ERP gives a company an integrated real-time view of its core business processes such as production, order processing, and inventory management, tied together by ERP applications software and a common database maintained by a database management system. ERP systems track business resources (such as cash, raw materials, and production capacity) and the status of commitments made by the business (such as customer orders, purchase orders, and employee payroll), no matter which department (manufacturing, purchasing, sales, accounting, and so on) has entered the data into the system. ERP facilitates information flow between all business functions inside the organization, and manages connections to outside stakeholders. He began Streamline Systems in 1994, supporting the Rocky Mountain Region and serves as its Managing Director. In 1996, Streamline Systems was involved in a joint venture with Paul & Jan Baan to build a national privately owned Baan software reseller, Baan Business Systems MidAmerica. Within 3 years, this company became the #1 Baan reseller in the U.S., selling over $13 million in software and generating over $25M in total revenues. The company focused on the “machine building industry”, and used experts in manufacturing and finance to successfully understand and implement customer processes in the Baan ERP system. He is now focused on migrating this industry solution onto the Microsoft Axapta platform. He acknowledges, “We have seen more growth the in the ETO (engineer-to-order) segment than any other. We have assembled a team of ETO experts unlike any other Microsoft Gold Partner.” Headquartered in Colorado, Streamline Systems follows a focused business strategy and proven approach when it comes to working with any client. According to him, the company motto is making manufacturers more competitive since 1994. The company has a single focus: Improving the businesses of Industrial Equipment Manufacturers. Providing business management solutions and business process improvements, Streamline Systems’ team of experts focus exclusively on state of the art technology to help equipment manufacturers become more efficient and competitive. Utilizing the robust functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX – an integrated end-to-end business management solution, Streamline helps clients gain market share, operate more efficiently and profitably. Sikich acquired Streamline in 2012, and he became Partner of Vertical Industries. His team has brought a deep bench of manufacturing experience to the Sikich Technology group.
