Bio/Description

Born and raised in St. Paul, MN, he graduated from Cretin High School in 1938, was a veteran of WWII and received a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He was one of the earliest members of Control Data Corporation (CDC) and focused much of his work on designing memory capacity for mainframe computers as well as circuitry and logic for various Control Data computers for which he earned several patents two of which are: Phase inverting direct current amplifier circuit; and Single ended to double ended to single ended communication system.
