Yerevan Computer Research and Development Institute (YCRDI)

The Yerevan Computer Research and Development Institute (YCRDI) was founded by USSR government decision in 1956 for the development of computer equipment. It became major center for development of computers and automatic control systems for civil and defense purposes. At YCRDI's peak it employed over 7000 staff.
