Their lawn mowers use ALPS Technology which they developed. It is a local positioning system with accuracy of 5 cm (2 inches). It is wireless and enables robot to move freely through the yard and be aware of its position. Robot movements can be preprogrammed using the special device or prepared using the web app that robot communicates with. Robot can also be controlled with any Android or iOS mobile phone.
