ADI instrumentation for the food hygiene market consists of a series of battery powered Luminometers that are used mainly for the detection of ATP in an aqueous sample. The optical detection techniques for these Luminometers include single photon counting to direct current measurements. Depending on the sensitivity requirements, ADI uses a variety of optical sensors from photomultiplier tubes to silicon photodiodes.
