Burkhalter Rigging is an award-winning specialized rigging, lifting & transport provider for mission-critical shipments of extremely large.

In 1973, Mr. Leon Burkhalter, along with a partner, founded Crane Service, Inc. in Columbus, Mississippi. He was joined by his son Delynn in 1975, and the partner was bought out. Together they laid the foundations for growth. In 1984, the company began doing business as Burkhalter Rigging, Inc., while expanding into specialized rigging and transportation services. Later, Delynn grew the company into a national and international engineered heavy lift, rigging and super heavy transport entity. Today, Burkhalter is a third generation family company, led by Delynn and his son, Brooke, with depot yards in Columbus and Houston, Texas, including sales offices throughout the U.S., and a reach throughout North and South America.
