Camel Audio creates innovative synthesizers, effects and sound libraries. Their flagship products are the Free Alchemy Player VST/AU plugin and the Free Alchemy iOS App. Based in Edinburgh in the UK, they are committed to the development of innovative professional audio plugins that strike the optimum balance between flexibility and ease of use. Camel Audio is known for the full version of its software suite which is available via the company's Alchemy software. Previously available for $249, Alchemy included more than 1000 sounds, 5.5GB worth of samples, a powerful additive resynthesis engine, spectral resynthesis, a virtual analog synthesizer, and more. Its powerful engine was highly useful to those who liked to create and manipulate audio for unique sounds. Camel Audio products have won many awards including Electronic Musicians Best Soft Synth 2010 and Keyboards Key Buy Award for Alchemy.
