This initiative provides those Canadian start-ups in information and communication technology, digital and social media, gaming.

Canadian Technology Accelerators (CTA) connecting high-potential Canadian technology companies to US markets, investors and partnerships. Operated by the Consulate General of Canada in New York. Three CTA accelerators run by the Canadian Consulate General in New York connect Canadian tech start-ups to US capital, strategic partnerships and potential clients. New York site of the Canadian Technology Accelerator, showcasing growing Canadian startups in the sectors of Digital Media and CleanTech (programs based in NYC), and Health IT (based in Philadelphia). We mentor promising small and medium-sized Canadian companies looking for investment or partnerships in the New York region, or to expand their market base here. The Consulate General in New York established its digital tech accelerator CTA Digital Tech in 2012 to help Canadian digital tech companies access key resources to accelerate their growth in the US. The five-month program targets high-potential companies in digital tech (Ad Tech, Data Analytics, FinTech, E-Commerce, SaaS and Content) selected through a competitive process. The companies receive international business acceleration from partners in the private sector, working closely with Trade Commissioners of the International Business Development section of the Canadian Consulate. CTA CleanTech is an online-based program, anchored in NYC and San Francisco, mentoring Canadian CleanTech companies via webinars, in-person events, business contacts and strategic advice. CTA CleanTech helps companies connect to growth-scaling opportunities in NYC and Silicon Valley including market expansion, new partnerships and financing. CTA Health IT is based in Philadelphia at the prestigious Science Center in Philadelphia. It mentors growth-scaling companies with patient-centered solutions using health information technology including mobile devices (mHealth) and telemedicine (eHealth). CTA Health IT helps companies connect to new markets, financing, and partnerships with US healthcare providers in the largest healthcare services market in the world.
