Canaima Capital is a privately-held investment firm, based in Barcelona, Spain, formed to invest, acquire and operate European, privately held lower mid-market firms (revenues between €5 to €30 million). Unlike conventional private equity firms, Canaima Capital manages an open-ended fund backed by a diverse, international group of family offices, private investors and high net worth individuals, who are experienced managers and entrepreneurs from Europe and the Americas, looking to identify, acquire and grow established companies for an indefinite time horizon. Our goal is to work with committed sellers that need to achieve either full or partial liquidity. We are not a traditional private equity sponsor or strategic acquirer. We want to work with business owners, who no longer wish to run their firms but want to transition their life's work to the next generation of owner-operators to assure the long-term success of what they have built.
