CapTherm’s unique high-efficiency approach is called ‘multiphase cooling’. The multiphase technology represents the core of CapTherm’s technology and harnesses the raw power of latent heat of vaporization. Proprietary technology enables CapTherm to solve a broad range of high power electronics cooling challenges across a variety of applications. Vastly improving chip level cooling of servers, workstations, desktops and mobile devices increasing performance and reliability due to increased thermal performance over 50% of all laptop returns are heat related failures. CapTherm’s technology also offers excellent potential for energy savings through improved energy efficiency! Providing critical thermal management solutions for cooling batteries, insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBT’s) and cabinet climate control. Increased thermal performance offers extended range, longer battery life, faster acceleration and less waste heat. Increased operating temperatures are the top reason for premature failure of LEDs. High power LED’s, for example, such as those used in streetlights, are an ideal application.
