CD Baby distributes music through iTunes, Amazon, Facebook, Spotify, Google Music, CDBaby.com and more. CD Baby also distributes to over 2000 brick-and-mortar record stores. CD Baby charges a one-time setup fee of $49 per album (9.99 per single). CD Baby does not charge yearly fees. CD Baby allows artists to set their own prices, and retains $4 of every CD sale and 9% of download sales. Artists get paid on weekly basis. CD Baby has been acquired by CD and DVD manufacturer Disc Makers for $22 M. CD Baby has paid over 200,000 million dollars to independent artists as of Nov 2011.
