CheckDog is an automated check tool that scans websites for spelling errors, broken links, broken images, and more. The tool can be scheduled to automatically scan relevant websites, and to have errors presented in user-friendly reports with errors highlighted on screenshots of the relevant webpages containing the errors. Users can easily create custom dictionaries to reduce the number of false positives. RSS feeds of errors are generated and errors can be easily downloaded into a spreadsheet. Specific content such as blog comments can easily be ignored using the CheckDog content filter. CheckDog was launched by Kevin Garber in April 2008 and is based in Sydney, Australia.
