DestroyMail is a mobile email application with animations and effects for ios.

DestroyMail is an application a lot like the one that comes out of the box with the iPhone, but with one major difference: users can delete their emails with animations and special effects, and have the option of choosing among animation packs. The animation packs include weapons (a grenade launcher, for example, or a flamethrower), quirky characters by animators Reboco & Churrasco, and air strikes (where you can call in an F-16 airstrike on an email you've slated for deletion). Each animation lasts for about 3 seconds, and have 'quick forms' where a swipe can trigger an explosion and a deletion. There is an accompanying undo feature. New animation packs are always being introduced, and so the content keeps growing with each new release. Focusing on the 'gamification' of email, a relatively new space, DestroyMail's app first got approved by the Apple Store on 10/29/2013, and launched on 11/11/2013. An update, featuring even more animations, came out on 01/22/2014.
