Detour is a Bay Area-based mobile application for location-aware audio walks. It enables its users to leave their phones in their pockets as it guides them to the stories they cannot see. The application syncs audios across phones for a seamless group experience allowing its users to explore on their own schedules. It offers new Detours every month from journalists, radio producers, tour guides, artists, and more. Detour was launched in November 2013 by Yishai Lerner and Andrew Mason.'
