Dis.cuss.It provide tools and services designed to help websites and web applications promote and manage discussion. They currently have 2 products and an API. Dis.cuss.It Live Moderator, lets site and blog owners moderate their comments as they are posted via a client application that works in a similar style to an instant messaging client, complete with desktop notification alerts. Moderators can approve/withdraw/reply and re-tweet messages quickly and easily via the client. Dis.cuss.It Engine, is service for providing threaded discussion capabilities on any site. It exposes a comprehensive API that provides developers with all they need to build custom commenting systems and moderation tools. There are a couple of default javascript widgets that make it easy to add comments to any page.
