Distribber was founded in 2007 by Adam Chapnick to serve the glaring need for transparency, simplicity, and ease in independent film distribution. In 2010 Indiegogo the worlds leading crowd funding site acquired Distribber to give filmmaker tools for distribution. In 2014 DiGi Worldwide acquired Distribber from Indiegogo to add to their list of companies in order to help filmmakers generate revenue without the middlemen. Nick Soares is Distribber's new CEO along side of Jeff Berry currently COO of Distribber Inc.
