For years, men have enjoyed the luxury of custom fitted shirts. It’s our mission to bring that benefit to women. We know that no two women are exactly alike, and neither are their bodies. With four simple measurements and more than 100 fabric/pattern choices, we can create a luxuriously custom collection for every woman. Founders Ravi and Jen Ratan are a husband and wife team who have a long history with the fashion industry. Ravi’s family has been in the custom clothing business for more than 50 years, catering specifically to men. Successes include Cufflinks.com and Q Custom Clothier. Jen spent ten years in the Consumer Product sector in marketing and advertising before leaving the corporate world to raise their two daughters. Despite her role as a carpool mom, she always felt the need to get dressed each day. Her daytime “uniform” of button down shirts and jeans became her daily attire. Unable to find the perfect shirt, she and Ravi teamed up to make one. With Double R, Ravi and Jen are taking their custom clothing expertise and offering it to women, who have widely been excluded from the custom clothing arena. Before Double R, a woman’s only option for a properly fitting shirt was buying off the rack and spending more time and money to have it altered. With Double R, they have opened up their choices, making women custom shirts that fit them perfectly. Jen now has a closet full of perfect shirts.
