Easter Egg Archive’s primary objective is to provide its users with an easy-to-use archive with better features. It was launched as the result of an experiment with the new ''frames'' feature of Netscape and CGI programming on a web server. Easter Egg Archive was launched in 1995 by David Wolf, a graduate in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington.
