They needed schematic capture, spice simulation and PCB layout but They wanted it to not be Windows only and They didn't like the idea of having to pay lots of money to buy a huge software suite and then spend weeks learning how to use it. Their mission is to help designers move from idea to manufactured prototype faster by providing comprehensive data and collaboration tools for electronic design.
