It enables its users to send gifts to their friends via Facebook, initiating friend-to-friend marketing; personalize any gift; and invite friends to chip-in on a gift card. Its clientele is comprised of American Eagle Outfitters, Pottery Barn, Applebee’s, and several other household brand names. Founded in 2011, eGifter receives funds from the Long Island Angel Network, BDS Capital, Angel Dough Ventures, 94Bits, and several angel investors.
