EpiFinder, Inc. is developing a clinical decision support tool (software), which helps specialty medical doctors and neurologists to diagnose epilepsy at the point-of-care. EpiFinder integrates various key features in a manner that increases the chances a neurologist will successfully diagnose the particular type of epilepsy the patient is suffering from. Our search engine (algorithm) will quickly gather and sort data based on the latest peer-reviewed discoveries, screen the information for evidence-based results, and provide a guided step-by-step approach to the diagnosis of the potential epilepsy syndromes. With our support tool, neurologists don’t have to spend time and efforts by searching through textbooks and research papers. Our tool does all the tedious work all while helping to inform and educate the neurologist. We improve the workflow of the neurologist so that they can focus their time on who is important, the patient.
