It all started with our jewelry-designer founder, Alexandra Grenham, setting up house with her husband John and two kids. She spent months looking for charming, unique items that would express her quirky style and add tons of personality to her rooms. Like most of us, Alexandra had a budget. That hip, mid-century retailer was way out of reach. And the places she could afford to shop didn’t offer anything special. Relentless in her quest, Alexandra sought out unknown, artisan manufacturers that had one thing in common. Pride in their work. After months of searching, Alexandra had an amazing little black book of some of the best artisan designers in the world. And like a really fab novel or a great shoe find, some things are just too good not to share. Erie Drive was born.
