European Aeronautical Group’s electronic Route Manual approved by German CAA. For the first time in Europe, a Civil Aviation Authority has approved an electronic charting product for operational use without paper back up. European Aeronautical Group have developed a new version of our electronic Route Manual, eRM 2.0. The new version, which is available in three different configurations: Office, Flight Deck and WEB, was approved in December by the German Civil Aviation Authority, LBA eRM 2.0 may be used in a 'electronic flight bag' concept based on, for instance, a Pen Tablet PC, with several other software modules to represent the whole variety of cockpit tasks. If a stationary system is used onboard the aircraft, the WEB-access to the same chart set up will allow the airline’s pilots to access information and perform pre-flight briefings from any computer connected to the Internet.European Aeronautical Group’s electronic Route Manual approved by German CAA.
