ExClone offers a chatbot technology that chats about particular knowledge, expertise, and persona.

ExClone's technology uses a proprietary machine learning method. The method absorbs knowledge from text by reading it sentence by sentence in a similar way the human brain does. Each sentence is converted into a Question & Answer (Q&A) set using the principles of the Human Dialogue Theory. On the average, twenty Q&As are generated from each sentence. Then, all Q&A sets are interconnected to form an ontology. The method further proceeds to extract logical conclusions (i.e., Swedes are tall, Mike is Swedish, hence Mike is probably tall.) The multi-layer architecture allows deployment at various complexity levels depending on the nature of the exClone to be created.
