Eyra makes a wearable device that assists blind and visually impaired individuals with their day-to-day activities. The device analyzes its surroundings, obtains useful information through text reading, objects, and people recognition, obstacle detection; and audibly communicates them to the users through voice. Eyra was founded by Luca Nardelli and Saverio Murgia in 2014 and is based in Lugano, Switzerland and also has offices in Milan, Italy.
