Fairpie is a distribution and discovery platform for independent documentaries. (Currently in development.) Through fairpie filmmakers can publish and sell their films on-demand, making it possible for viewers to discover those films and support the people behind them. By bringing filmmakers and film fans together fairpie is aiming to change how independent documentaries are distributed and discovered for good. Fairpie for filmmakers Any documentary filmmaker can upload their documentary to fairpie, set a minimum price to view, and start marketing their film on established social networks, building their fanbase as they go along. Fairpie for viewers Through fairpie viewers will be able to discover great independent documentaries they never even knew existed and collect them in their own virtual collection. When they find a film that catches their eye they can support and interact with the filmmaker behind it as well as with other viewers.
