Farmster is a 'hybrid' digital / SMS-based marketplace for agriculture in emerging economies. Sellers (mostly rural farmers) post their produce into the marketplace via SMS chatbot, and buyers search for produce by location, time of sale and quantity using the Farmster app or website. User profiles expand connections within the agricultural value chain.
