Pioneer Europe offers car, home, computer, portable, and DJ electronics in Europe. It offers AppRadio, GPS navigation, DVD and CD receivers, speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, accessories, and specialty products for cars; and Blu-ray discs, A/V receivers, home theater systems, audio components, speakers, headphones, wireless speakers, and accessories for homes. The company provides computer drives, speakers, and headphones; portable audio systems, including headphones, iPod and Bluetooth accessories, apps, and computer drives; and media players, controllers, DJ systems, mixers, remix stations and effectors, speakers, headphones, and accessories and software for DJs. The company sells its products through a network of retail stores and online dealers. Driven by the growth of the audio-visual market and its strategy of operating near the customers it serves, the company set up its first distribution subsidiaries in 1978 in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Denmark. This trend continued throughout the next decade with distribution subsidiaries added in Italy (1980), The Netherlands and Belgium (1981), Spain (1986), and Norway (1990) as well as France (1993). In 1994, a representative office in Moscow for the Russian market was opened. Pioneer Europe was founded in 1970 and is headquartered in Belgium.
