Plants Map makes custom, interactive plant tags and signs that connect mobile devices to information about that particular plant.

Plants Map (Plantsmap.com) is a community website that hosts plant collections for individuals and organizations. Connecting People With Plants (TM): Their concept is to grow connections between people, places and organizations based on their botanical interests. Website features include the ability to create a digital online plant journal, library or catalog with a photo gallery and notes. Plantsmap.com profiles can map plants they grow or experience and organize them into collections and subcollections. The website was launched in January 2014 as the winner of a StartUp Weekend competition. In 2015 comprehensive website development began with the addition of KiwiTecht their team. In 2016 the team is expanding their marketing efforts with several collaborations and focusing on community growth. As of December 2015 there are over 17,000 plant stories contributed by community members.
