Politapoll

Politapoll is a system that allows citizens to engage with and monitor their legislatures via a mobile app.

Politapoll is literally creating a new currency for getting and staying elected. Using our app (currently available for iOS and Android), citizens vote on legislation while it’s being reviewed by members of Congress (but before they vote on it). We then send polling data to legislatures so they know exactly what their constituents want. But we don’t stop there. We track their votes and create a score – if legislators vote with the people, they get a positive score; or a negative score if they vote counter to the votes of citizens. Over time you can see at a glance how well your legislatures are representing you – or if they’re representing you at all. It’s like a quarterback rating for politicians.
