We are a unique Internet startup with the idea that with the right web-based technology, we can transform typical e-commerce, which are products and services transacted 'online', into the 'local' commerce. 'Local' commerce is the idea that transactions happen locally -- all around us. Traditional big box retailers are the foundation of local commerce with physical locations. BUT what about the mom & pop businesses? The neighborhood yard-sales? The furniture liquidators on 5th & Broadway? The 'today's-only-75%-off clearance' from the local sporting-goods store? That's a tent-sale! Pop Ups is making it possible for quick, on-the-fly sales to be published, broadcasted, and made available to customers centrally located at or near the sales location. We envision our App to be the 'go-to' commerce application that transcends E-commerce to local commerce. Pop-Ups shall be made available as web-based applications on the iOS and Android platforms. The platforms shall support all types of businesses, including: individuals, small businesses, and larger big-box retailers. Pop Ups will utilized the latest in mobile technology to bring retailers and businesses even closer to the individual consumers!
