The firm performs hands-on assessments of technology products such as servers, storage, laptops, tablets, smartphones, software, and more. It performs tests and creates marketing materials in its on-site data center, lab, and studio facilities. Its services include analysis, assessment, and communication. Principled Technologies was co-founded by Mark L. Van Name and Bill Catching in 2002 and is based in Durham, North Carolina.
