Retail Solutions Inc (RSi) is a global company based in Mountain View, CA that provides a software-as-a -service platform designed to allow consumer goods companies to gain visibility and better understand their business in major chain retailers. RSi's suite of software is fueled by big data (point of sale and inventory data) from major retailers and allegedly provides insights around solving issues relating to out of stock products, inventory levels, promotions, forecasting, pricing, new product introductions, and unsellable items.Founded in 2003 as T3Ci, the company started out selling radio-frequency identification (RFID) software before moving into its current business. That move was solidified by its acquisition of the RDS division of VeriSign in 2007. Today, Retail Solutions has thirteen offices globally and works with over 500 consumer goods companies and sixty major retailers.
