TeamIndus builds a privately funded Spacecraft capable of soft landing on the Moon by 2017. TeamIndus is the only Indian team in the Google Lunar XPRIZE competition, the international competition to land a private spacecraft on the moon. With the turn of events in 2016, TeamIndus’ chances of making it to the Moon’s surface have significantly increased and they are on their way to becoming the very first, privately funded, Space exploration Mission ever.
