Founded in 1999 as the first university spin-off centers in Austria, pursued by the Centre for Applied Technology Leobe s still the goal, researchers and creative personalities from the field of Mining University and the FH Joanneum ideal conditions for starting their own business to offer. They want to help not only young start-ups of the idea into reality, but as well as high quality academic jobs create in their region. In cooperation with the partners, the Montan University itself and the city of Leoben, the Centre for Applied Technology since the beginning of his existence more than 50 start-up projects delivered in the high-tech field, provide a more solid growth.
