Network performance monitoring

Today we rely more and more on information exchanged almost instantaneously but we don’t have an easy way to measure the data latency. Zerolatency introduces TimePack, a new technology which blends information and time/location in the same data packet, improving network monitoring (more efficient, cost effective and interoperable) and creating a new ecosystem of latency aware network/applications (codecs, sensor networks, IoT). The IT market is looking for visibility on the network without sacrificing simplification and interoperability, this method works on physical and cloud infrastructures in a transparent way and totally compliant with the existing standards. It is a very efficient technology because it does not generate any extra traffic, it does not need event correlation, it can be applied on every device traversed by the information packet and it can be analyzed by any existing product. This innovation opens the network/data delivery monitoring to any IT business and makes possible a proficuous collaboration between content provider and infrastructure services centred on data quality. We consider this technology a game-changer and we cannot fully estimate the impact on all fields where it could be applied, for example we can see an interesting application on power grid outage monitoring but we should really speak with microwave network providers to assess its feasibility. A similar consideration could be done for natural disasters sensor network, where a fraction of second could save many lives activating for example emergency generators or circuit breakers pre-emptively before the seismic wave will hit a certain area.
