Social Sales is a community building tool for artists/musicians. The tool is used to aid artists in growing their fan base and collecting vital data on these fans. Social Sales accomplish these two goals through a direct-to-fan, reverse auction model. They incentivize fans to spread the word about this sale because the price everyone pays decreases for each new participant.
