Hardware Description

Not only does Asus provide a much more relaxed BIOS policy, the P7H55D-M EVO has plenty of additional features including eSATA, FireWire, and USB 3.0 powered by a NEC controller. However, in other ways it's very much a budget motherboard, lacking RAID as it is driven by the mainstream H55 chipset. Some more stripped-down H55 mainboards from 2nd/3rd tier manufacturers can be found for well under $100.
