Hardware Description

Released in 2001, the eMachines T1090 was a desktop PC from eMachines, a company that specializes in manufacturing and selling low-cost computers. The specification is as follows: 900 MHz Celeron (Coppermine-128) Processor, Socket 370 Onboard Graphics, Intel 740 128MB SDRAM, PC133 20GB 5400RPM Seagate IDE HDD 48x IDE CD-ROM Drive 150w Bestech SFF ATX PSU Windows XP Home Edition The motherboard was a custom unit for eMachines based around Socket 370 with the Intel 810 chipset. Graphics were onboard, provided by the Intel 740 on the integrated AGP bus with 8MB of video memory. Despite the AGP bus being present, the motherboard does not have an AGP slot, so any graphics card upgrades must be done through PCI. Expansion consisted of two PCI slots and one AMR slot populated by an included software modem. The motherboard has provisions for a third PCI slot, but the area for the third is unpopulated. Storage is limited to IDE unless a SATA expansion card is installed.
