The Xerox Phaser 3250/DN is a monochrome laser printer built for speed and expandability, though these desirable traits bring with them a somewhat steep $349 price tag. (Xerox sells a non-networked version for $279.) If you can get over the price, you'll find the 3250 to be a fine printer with a lot of great features, including networking capability, support for auto-duplexing, and the ability to add both a second paper tray as well as more memory.
