Bio/Description

A career leader in building success for U.S.-based and international companies in the semiconductor space, Healy has served as General Manager of Sony LSI Design Inc., a provider of turnkey services for semiconductor design, fabrication, assembly and test. He is also founder and President of Healy & Associates, a firm that specializes in product positioning and business development services. He formerly served as president and CEO of LogicVision Inc., which was sold to Mentor Graphics Corp. in 2009. LogicVision Inc. provided embedded test technology to improve "time-to-yield" in the manufacturing of semiconductors.

He also held senior executive positions at companies which include Spirox USA, ASAT USA, FormFactor, Genus Corp., Credence Systems, and LTX Corp. Earlier in his career, he was with GenRad Semiconductor Test Inc. and Trillium Corp. Healy also held various positions in marketing and engineering during his 15 years with the Test Systems Division of Fairchild Semiconductor.

In February 2008, Palo Alto company DFMSim Inc. named him Executive Chairman of the Board, citing that he had spent much of his career building success for U.S.-based and international companies in the semiconductor space. He holds a Bachelor's degree and a Masters of Science degree from California State University at Hayward. Healy has served on the advisory boards of Atrenta and an alternative energy start-up.

In 2001, he received the Semiconductor Industry Association's Bob Graham Award. He has served four years on the Semiconductor Technical Advisory Committee of the Department of Commerce. Healy is the author of two books with Prentice Hall: "Automatic Testing and Evaluation of Digital Integrated Circuits", published in 1981, and "Winning the High Tech Sales Game", published in 1984.
