Bio/Description
Founder of the UK's first sex tech hackathon, held in 2016 at Goldsmiths, University of London, Devlin is a Northern Irish computer scientist whose work sits at the intersection of human sexuality and robotics. She also co-chaired the annual Love and Sex With Robots convention in 2016 in London.
Devlin became Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Society in the Department of Digital Humanities at King's College London. Her specialisms include artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. She authored Turned On: Science, Sex and Robots, as well as several academic papers.
