Bio/Description

Prior to founding Satori Capital, he served as president and chief executive officer of Handango, which he founded in February 1999. His charter was to broaden Handango's leadership in the phone and handheld software market. He drove the company's strategy and built a world-class team, positioning Handango as the global leader in the smartphone content market. Before founding Handango, he led the venture capital division of Q Investments, L.P.; the multi-billion-dollar, private investment firm that incubated Handango. In an earlier position, He worked as a financial analyst for Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Principal Investments Area, which manages the personal capital of the firm's partners. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Randy focused on technology and media investment opportunities, which would prove valuable in implementing his vision for Handango. He also worked as a financial analyst at Bear Stearns and HBK Investments. Randy holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Texas, where he graduated summa cum laude from the Business Honors Program. In 2004, he received Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award. He is also actively involved in the Young Presidents Organization.
