He oversaw the growth of the corporation from a $4-million company to one with revenues of over $4 billion. In October of 1985, it was reported that spurred by strong revenue growth in its three operating groups, second-quarter profit rose 43% over the year-earlier period. Net earnings for the quarter ended September 27 were $4.9 million, up from $3.4 million a year ago. Revenue increased by 22% to $209.3 million from $172 million.
