Established in 1981 to serve the local oil and gas community, they have earned the leading position as the dominant Satellite Telecommunications service provider to the drilling industry on the Texas / Louisiana Gulf Coast. They are headquartered in Houston, Texas – 'the energy capital of the world' and operate from branch offices in Lafayette and New Orleans, Louisiana and Aberdeen, Scotland. They originally started as a service company providing two-way radio and rural radiotelephony to drilling rigs and production platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Over the past twenty plus years their loyal customer base has required us to provide the same quality of products and services around the globe. Their expertise is called upon for supporting operations in places where no other telecommunications infrastructure exist: dense jungles, barren deserts, tropical rain forests and open waters. With an infrastructure built on a satellite platform, the bulk of their services traverse through hub earth stations, which they both own and operate. Through their seven earth stations spread among Texas, Louisiana and Scotland, they land nearly three full transponders of satellite bandwidth and support more than 500 circuits. Their technical staff operates these hub earth stations on a 24 x 7 schedule from their Network Operations Centers in Friendswood Texas and Aberdeen, Scotland. From these Centers, they monitor their systems from around the world. Their technicians are available for dispatch to support installations, maintenance and moves wherever their networks are installed.
