Canon introduced in 1984 with the LS-704 a typical credit card sized calculator using solar cells instead the batteries. The LS-704 was available in either a grey or white color scheme. The otherwise identical LS-423 features a very interesting color schema.The Canon LS-704 is an arithmetic calculator with 8 digits precision and algebraic logic. It has 7 functions, 24 keys and an LCD (liquid crystal) display. The power source is Solar. The calculator was manufactured in Japan.
