Yle Media Start Accelerator

Yle Media Startup Accelerator is an intensive 3 month program where startups can work with Yle's media.

The Yle Media Start Accelerator (powered by Nestholm) is looking for startups from Finland and abroad that have an innovative media service. With Nestholma's Lean Startup -driven model, a great lineup of mentors from [Yle] (/organization/yle) and their network of investors, startups will get a running start in getting to the next level. Also, communications and services company [Elisa] (/organization/elisa) will be part of the program helping the startups. Both Yle and Elisa are also looking for new partners that have great ideas for services and technologies that extend and improve their offerings. During the accelerator program, startups will also have opportunities to pitch their product or service to relevant people at Yle and Elisa. Finnish market will be a great testbed for many of the ideas, but the goal is to help the startups to become international successes. There will be a pitching event for the top applicants at which the accepted startups will be announced. All startups that are accepted into the Yle Media Startup Accelerator are eligible for up to one million dollars (ca. 740k€) worth of deals and discounts for products and services that every startup needs (cloud hosting, marketing and more). These deals are administered by their partner F6S.com that also hosts the application form.
